Why is this even a question? Ofc never trying is worse. Cause you never know friend, you might have succeeded. The girl you wanted to ask out but never did cause 'she can say "no" ', or that job you think you aren't qualified enough to apply for or anything that you're just making excuses for because you're scared of looking stupid or feeling scared, failing is just one of the options. It's not the only one.
